Description
Experience Level: Expert
Num. of words: 40000
Tone: Other
Extra notes: Ghost writer required to write a book on Aesthetics Medicine. A 45-min short film will be provided, where you can pick and mix points to include. However further research is required (not extensive), and we may need to do an 'interview' to help you get the points across in the most effective way.
The book is aimed at the general public (18 and above, but mainly the 25-45 market) and should be written in first person. It should be informative, but delivered in a casual, creative way to make it an easy read
The focus of the book should be on:
1. The pressure young people are facing to look good
- the search for perfect look
- celebrity culture
- selfie culture and raise of social media use
- social media bullying and shaming of celebrities based on appearance
- do people with good looks do better in life?
2. Patient safety issues and patient's rights
- the dark side of aesthetics medicine (dangers and lack of regulation etc) - I can provide more info on this if needed
- patient's rights (when things go wrong) - I can provide more info on this if needed
- the research patients should do before having procedures and roles of organisations like save face etc
3. Case studies (to be written in a memoir/autobiography/story-telling manner)
4. Physical appearance and self-confidence in the media (how songs/movies etc can help people embrace imperfections and feel better about themselves)
