Experience Level: Intermediate
I need to create website that includes a simple form-based (maybe widget-like visual) solution that allows users to pick items from a pick-list database in order to create a document that can be exported into excel for example, for ongoing completion. The core solution may be free to some users but there would be chargeable add-ons .
The database would include options to select: a pre-made descriptive text or the option to create your own description, a materiality assessment, a control statement, a 3 or 6-month reporting range, and others.
The website would include the other standard pages such as about us, contact us, who we work with, etc etc
The site also needs to show, perhaps in the shape of pop up boxes, 'how to' hints and tips as the user navigates through the experience - meaning that the site will need pages where educational content can be added also.
The solution must be very easy to navigate, presented in a fresh, neat, contemporary way and users should be able to do this via their mobile.
The attached document gives an example of the end product (i.e. excel extract) after the user has selected information through the application. The columns in it would effectively be populated by the database of options available to users.
There are plans to develop different content in future and therefore the form-based template needs to be 'recyclable' so that it can be used for different future themes.
Pricing structure may be: free or small lifetime fee for registered charities and £x for other users (pay monthly or yearly). There would chargeable add-ons. I may look to structure the pricing as: first 10 descriptions/items are free, then you must pay to have access to more.
Users should be able to suggest new ideas or ask that new descriptions are added to the database.

Hi Simone,
This sounds like it is a risk management system, or something similar. I therefore wonder if you're looking to allocate risks/mitigating actions to individuals and have follow-up reminders or reporting against progress. Or is that a stage 2 feature?

Hi Simone, this work has any technology dependency or we can use any web technology like I love to use asp.net MVC C# , jQuery , bootstrap for responsive behavior. Thanks
