Excel Price Sheet Analysis / Pivot / Macro
I need a quick way to run side by comparisons on different customer price sheets. Attached are two sample files and a manual sample of the desired output. The report / pivot will need to show the Part Number, Description, Price
Sheet Price for each sheet or location, material type would be nice - following by the last column displaying the Avg. for all shown product rows.
I'd like to see matching prices per row highlighted. The shows the locations with same pricing.
I'd also like if possible to group customers or price sheets with the same pricing. So, all rows match across the board.
We are currently converting all old price sheets to the new format (similar to the attached test samples). And I hundreds upon hundreds of unique price sheets for active customers.
We have Reps and Customers that requests side by side comparison of accounts and locations.
Current request is I'm doing a side by side on the 5 Top Accts on the East Coast and 5 Top West Coast accounts. Lowes is wanting a side by side of all branches in a 2 state area (75 sheets), etc. The requests are different all the time. The largest was a side by side of 250 price sheets.
The Goal:
Create a folder " Hold Data " for example - where I would place the price sheets for the requesting side by side analysis. Have some type of excel query, VB or macro that would import the price sheets from the "Hold Data" folder and process the side by side report.
And then load different set of price sheets for a different request and do it again.
