EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN HIGHWAY PAVEMENT REHABILITATION


The main goal of this research provides a process for evaluation and technologies in highways pavements rehabilitation.
Objectives:-
1. The relative effectiveness of different rehabilitation treatments in producing immediate improvements in pavement condition.
2. The available data for the long term pavement performance (LTPP) studies.
3. Study the performance of thin asphalt cement (AC) overlays on continuously reinforced concrete pavement (CRCP).
4. Identify the life cycle cost (LCC) analysis the cost of rehabilitation strategy.
5. The influence of climate and traffic level on the effectiveness of different rehabilitation treatment.
6. Economics analysis between rigid and flexible pavement rehabilitation.
7. Study the performing equipments.
8. Study the present practices and techniques used in highway pavement rehabilitation.
