Description
Experience Level: Entry
Information for the business: Personal project
Design details: I am having trouble replicating halftone effects into a personal project that I am working on, so I am looking for someone with previous experience who can help and no doubt do this in their sleep. I have an arcade control panel that I am trying to restore, I have managed to replicate almost all aspects of it myself except some blue halftones (approximately 12 small areas).
Accuracy for me is paramount with this project & I will require the blue halftones to match the source material exactly...Well 99.9% at least :).
I can provide detailed photos of each the existing halftones and layers from my PSD project as guides. Using the Phantasm plugin in Adobe illustrator I can tell you that the angle of the halftone is 105 or 75 degrees retrospectively and the DPI used is likely to be 18 or 20. The blue halftones must have a transparent background as the final work will be printed onto silver vinyl.
As an extra I would like the ability to be able to change the colour of the halftone at a later date as while I have a close approximation of the blue used I am not 100% sure of the actual colour.
Please see the attached photos
Target audience: Halftone Masters
Ideas for the visual style: Identical to the source material
Where the design will be used: Print onto Silver Vinyl
Extra notes: I require all working files to be made available to me at the end of the project.

Hi Michael. This looks like an interesting job. I missed out I'm afraid but do you need the vinyl printed? Please let me quote if you do.
Regards Keith
Michael W.19 May 2017Keith, I'm actually sourcing quotes at the moment. Is printing onto silver vinyl something you can do for me? Kind regards Michael
Keith H.19 May 2017Yes. I certainly can. Please send dimensions and I'll get you a price. Looking at the pics, it looks like a brushed silver/metal effect?
regards
Keith
