Desktop Support Engineer • Madrid - Spanish /​ English

Madrid based Freelance Contract available for Spanish/​ English speaking Desktop Support Engineer.​ The individual will provide IT support locally in Spain as well as offering telephone support to other remote offices across Europe.​

Main Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair laptop or PC hardware/​software problems
Diagnose and repair problems via email, phone or in person at users location
Printer, Copier and Fax troubleshooting and repair
Perform regular maintenance
Escalate and monitor issues when dealing with external vendors for warranty repair issues
Software installation and repair

Skills & Experience:
Experience providing customer support (in person, or via e-mail/​telephone)
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written) in Spain & English
Experience with Windows 9x, NT, 2000 and XP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange Server 5.​5 and Exchange 2000
Experience troubleshooting hardware and software Printer, Copier and Fax issues
You must be Spanish speaking and able to legally work in Spain. Ideally you should have done similar work in the past. Must be good worker with the right mind set.

Payment: Euros 130 per day. Min. contract 3/6 months.
