Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: javascript integrated on WP
Num. of web pages/modules: one
Description of every page/module: It is basicly a smart form and designing "app"
you design something you want to ordwer and place the order trough a form.
Description of requirements/features: I think the problem is in the js and/or css
the code works nicely in a normal html5 web page and the actuall WordPress site when used with Chrome, Edge, FF and a couple others too. But not Safari! also old ie not working.

You could possibly get away with this job by transpiling the code with babel or something. I am not sure ofcoourse.. Otherwise I woukdnt be posting here :)

One obstacle for you might be the naming of the variables (not english)
the js (mainly jquery) file is 29kb the heavily prefixed css is 15kb
the html is very small. mainly form elements and divs that the jquery plays around with.

How did you include the code bundle? Just raw ES6?

    Mika V.07 Sep 2017

Started with jQuery mainly. But then I needed to map and filter and reduce and also I like using let and const instead of var

    Jason C.07 Sep 2017

So you haven't tried transpiling using babel yet??

Can you give me the site link first ?

  • Rusty L.

Sounds interesting. Is it possible to see the plugin please? Can you share a link to where it's currently live? Thanks

I have a non WP site for (faster) testing.
    http://yesdesign.fi/yamb/
the site is in finnish. Sorry :) please put in the first input 2000 and the second 1000
then you can click on the doors and "asign" a model like that. from "Tarkista hinta" you should get a price

please ask for any further you need to know

OK looks fine, although I wish I could read Finnish! What versions of IE is it not working on that you want to support? Also what is the exact issue? Is it just not displaying the price? What are the steps to recreate the error? Thanks

Can you please share any screen shot in the proposal .. or do we have any url to verify the issue?
