Hours: 4/5 hours a week, flexible on how you configure your working week
Job description:
An opportunity has been created for a forward thinking Credit Controller to join a business based in Manchester on a part time/ freelance basis.
The role will be based on a 5-hour week where flexibility is offered on start times and how you configure your working week.
You will be solely responsible for managing the Credit Control function from start to finish which includes monitoring the debtor list, chasing outstanding payments and creating weekly reports for senior management.
Reporting into the Finance Manager on a daily basis, ideally the person profile will be someone that is looking for a work life balance around childcare/other commitments but still possessing a drive and enthusiasm to work in a challenging position.
Daily responsibility will include:
- Collecting outstanding payments from clients
- Creating debtor reports for senior management
- Send out monthly statements
- Sales ledger management of all processes and invoicing
- Balance sales ledger
- Resolving any sales invoice queries
Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT skills
- The ability to work in a fast past environment
- Able to complete workload accurately
