Create a Quick-Ordering page
I have a customer that wants to submit product orders on our website.
1.When this user logs in, I need it to go to a specific page which will be an order form.
2.The order form will have a specific set of items with a set price.
3.There needs to be a quantity box for each item.
4.There should be a subtotal at the bottom that is automatically calculated by multiplying the quantity by the price.
5.We need an input box for the user to input his personal Purchase Order #.
6.And we need a textarea to put in additional part numbers for items that do not appear in his list. We can add these unlisted products to his list at a later date as we see which ones aren't available.
7.When the order is submitted, it should email the order to the vendor and a copy to himself.
8.The user needs a link that will go to a page showing his Order History. I need to see order history in Admin Backend too.
No payment will be taken. The vendor will invoice him independently. We just need to take the order and pass it along to the vendor.
9.There will be more users in his company that will need to use this too, so do we need to create a new user group for his company (Flowtech)?
10.All users of this group should be able to see the entire order history for the company. (If his secretary places an order using her own login, the company owner should be able to see her order in his own Order History page.
Would an e-commerce plugin help? This site is not going to be an online store, so no products on the public website.
