We are about to publish a book for business owners. The first batch will be for 5,000 copies and we'll distribute the book for free. The receiver is asked to make a small donation of £1-2 pounds which will help our effort to fundraise for our designated charity.

Other charities will also be allowed to sell the book if they want to. Either way, we will not make any profits on book sales. Therefore, we need to recover the costs of printing, which we'll do by allowing a small number (10-15) of advertisers which will be introduced in the back pages. Each advertiser/sponsor will receive one full page in the book to promote their business/make a special offer etc.

Since the book will be read by small business owners, clearly the advertisers will have to be B2B businesses.

The biggest advantages to the advertisers are:
- exclusivity
- cost effectiveinvestment
- Right of refusal on future batches
- longevity of the media (unlike magazine, newspapers and flyers a book rarely gets thrown away. It has a much longer shelf life and it is often passed around to others, offering increased exposure for the advertiser for a very long time).

Since our main objective is primarely to recover the printing costs it means the advertiser will get a great value for money and you will get a fantastic commission.

Anyone with advertising sales experience could sell all the advertising spots in a few days and earn a great commission.
