The case describes the product and strategy related problems, which were faced with in the last years. As a result, the world's best known toy brand reported its first loss in the history of the company.
The Questions are:
1. To what extent have consumer tastes change regarding toys and what are the implications for a company such as Lego? (10%)
2. What gaps regarding customer needs do you think exist within the customer segments currently being targeted by Lego? (20%)
3. Discuss the feasibility of Lego launching products in the computer games market as opposed to keeping to their traditional offerings (70%)
