Experience Level: Expert
We are in need of an experienced Obj-C developer who is familiar with xcode and has compiled apps for the iPhone/iPad.

Requirement is to write a CalDAV library in Obj-C or port an existing C-Library (libcaldav) to Obj-C (should be a compilable library project including all dependencies). Any code used should either be that of Public Domain or LGPL (with clear indication of what is going to be used in the port). An idea would also to use the 'neon httpd' webserver (which supports WebDAV) and then add the CalDAV extensions in Obj-C on top.

This is immediately required and the job should not take more than a week.

Please note that the end-product (the CalDAV library/interface) should support all methods of the protocol and should have easy to use and documentated obj-c methods. These methods would be responsible for parsing, error checking etc (and reporting/returning errors to calling methods). Since it would be based on top of a WebDAV http client, it should be able to support basic authentication (both SSL and non-SSL) against CalDAV servers (such as Mobile Me, Yahoo, Google etc).
