Business Development Manager Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for three Business Development Managers.
One for South West Wales, One for East Wales and One for North Wales.
On a Self Employed - Commission Only Basis.

The Business Development Manager will develop and implement a regional sales and customer growth strategy, and build relationships with potential new customers for the company's products and services. The BDM will also implement regional sales and marketing programs, as well as maintain key accounts in the region.

Primary Job Responsibilities include:

-Develop annual sales plans to achieve company sales growth goals and budgets for the region.

-Define sales goals, strategies and programs for the region, including planning for sales by area, by customer type, by industry and by product.

-Identify key target customers in the region, including new prospects and emerging / past customers with growth potential, and develop field selling strategies for growing sales to each target account / group.

-Build awareness of company brand, products and services

-Develop and implement a structured and systematic sales contact and calling program in region, including gathering sales prospect data and information, identifying and contacting potential prospects, and setting up sales call appointments.

-Customize and deliver sales presentations, promotional materials and other marketing information to customers and prospects.

-Promote the company brand and value proposition through in-person presence, speaking roles and / or booths at key regional industry association or trade events.



Requirements

-3-5 years prior experience in a field sales or marketing position.

-Strong sales presentation skills, with ability to clearly communicate benefits and value of product offerings.

-Successful past experience in entering new markets, developing new customer bases, etc.

-Entrepreneurial, resourceful, energetic, self-starting, self-directed


This is a excellent new concept going to market for the very first time. Since the launch the conversion rate is over 25%.

Product sells for less than £700 and commisson rates are 25% with a 10% bonus for reaching target.

This is a new product offering the SME sector of the market to benefit from a comparison website product. Utilising their current customer base to direct traffic to their own comparison website to generate leads and commission based sales.

This creates an additional income stream for the business and an added value product for the customer, it also creates a local player on the national stage of comparison shopping.

This is a very low cost entry, internet product with potentially big returns.

We promote these services within South West Wales, including the cities, Cardiff, Swansea and Newport as well as the surrounding areas.

Comparison websites are big business but until now have been the domain of big budget national and international organisations. Not Any More!!!
