Experience Level: Expert
We have been trading for seven years primarily training staff who travel overseas in safety and security matters. We have extended the business offering to including compliance-based e-learning solutions and web-based travel safety information. We have a steady flow of business from blue chip clients such as Waitrose, Eon, Grant Thornton, John Lewis, Lilly, Olympus and Public Sector organisations etc.

We now require a dedicated business development function to help drive exapansion within the business. We have used telesales agencies in the past and a couple of interim sales people but they have not worked out - promising much but delivering little.

Average order values range from £2k up to £25k.

We are based in Bicester near Oxford although regular attending at our office is not required.

We are looking for someone who can make quick wins as well as build longer term relationships with the larger prospects we deal with. The Planet Wise website shows our unique course and web offerings and should give you a good feel for what the business is about.

Initially we wil trial the candiate with a few days per week over several weeks. If things work out and further investment is a no-brainer then this can become a longer term relationship.
