Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are 2 professional photographers and large format photographic printers for artists (not weekenders looking for quick cash). We have recently relocated and because of family illness for several years we have not been able to build up the boudoir part of our business as we would wish.
We now want to relaunch and appreciating that the market is much more crowded we want to create a distinctive brand.
As mentioned this is a very competitive market now and we note that the main players (web sites as reference) have quite similar styles, we want to define a style that is a little different yet is above all attractive to customers. The design must not be tacky but be aimed as the discerning buyer who is thinking about what is a luxury purchase. We are not aiming for top end prices but mid market yet with class and style. We need to be up to date with a minimum life of 3 years before updating.
We define the boudoir market to include females of ages 18-65, males and especially couples. The concept needs to be attractive to all but we like the idea of reasonably subtle colour chages to define in the web site and advertising material the three distinctive sections
The basic design brief is as follows:
A logo for the business - to be provided in vector format as well as web friendly formats.
Branding for the business as a style which we can use for all aspects specifically:
Business cards, compliment slips and letterheads - finished artwork (changeable by us)
A roll up banner design concept
Advertising styling for newspapers etc (layout only - we will add text as required)
An A5 2/s leaflet concept - not the finished artwork just a style board
A web site style as a PSD/PDF - not the web site at the moment as this may be the subject of a separate bid)
Concept design for packaging of the finished product - whether this is albums, CD\'s or larger images and could be as simple as ribbons, thank you cards etc but a selection of as original and distinctive ideas as possible are sought. They must however be practical and affordable and fit as an overall brand.
Whilst acknowledging design copyright we require unlimited use of all finished design material in the price and the acceptance that any concept may be taken to completion by different suppliers including ourselves.
If bidding it is important you appreciate the UK market as \"Boudoir\" has different concepts depending on the country.
