Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
Additions to an existing .NET Chart Control Application, comprising;

1. Add a Targets Table, comprising Meter_ID, Time_slot & Reading, which can be populated with target data (Readings), which can be plotted on the Day Chart on the Summary page (and can be switched on and off using a radio button on the Summary Page).
2. Provide a radio button on the summar page which switches on and off the plot of the previous days data on the Day Chart, Weekly Chart and Yearly Chart on the Summary page
3. If an individual bar on the Day Chart exceeds the target value change the colour of that individual bar to Red.
4. Parameterise the Summary Page so that it can select, either individual meters, Individual Buildings, Individual Zones or the entire database (excluding sub meters)
5. Add a Meter table which contains Meter_ID, Location, Description, Meter_Type (Enummerated - Electricity, Gas, Heat, Water), Sub_Meter (Y or N)
6. Add a Rates table which holds the current Rate for each type of Meter, electricity, gas etc, to allow the Reading to be multiplied to provide cost summary on the Summary Page
7. Amend the way meters are managed to allow them to be grouped into buildings, perhaps by adding a column within the Meter table. So that as well as reviewing individual meters you can review entire buildings which are comprised of several meters.
8. Amend the meters, as above to allow buildings to be grouped into zones (or sites) and reviewed as above
9. Provide a Pareto Graph for Zones to identify which Zone is consuming the most energy
10. Provide a Pareto Graph for Buildings to identify which buildings are consuming the most energy
