Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Contact form
Num. of web pages/modules: 4
Description of every page/module: Module One: Html page with a form. The form needs the following inputs:
1. First name
2. Last name
3. Email
4. Telephone number
5. Query
Styling of the form is not important.
Module 2: A PHP script which actions the submission of the form in module one. I want the php to take in the users input, validate the inputs and sends an email to an email address of my choosing. Depending on the results of the validation I want the user to be redirected to the html page outlined in module three and four.
Module 3: An html page with one word: "Success".
Module 4: An html page with a list of error messages.
Description of requirements/features: The work is all in the PHP script. If there are errors with the execution of the PHP I want to be able to see those errors to help with debugging. For me to be happy with the solution I need to see the email being received when the form is successfully submitted and I'd like a demonstration of the output when the form validation fails.
CMS and Admin requirements: If access to my web hosting solution (123-Reg) is required I will provide temporary credentials. Any additional advice around configuring my hosting package would be welcome.
Extra services needed: Hosting
Extra notes: I am a capable web developer but I struggle with PHP and have no experience debugging PHP. I don't understand how to configure my hosting package to accommodate PHP execution and my hosting provider has been particularly unhelpful. I do not want to use Javascript to achieve this work.
