What you get with this Offer
DEPENDENT ON THE SOURCE COMPOSITION... I can write a Javascript bookmarklet to extract data from online sources, into structured data for copy/paste into Excel.
Javascript emded in a bookmark - when on a page of interest, you manually click the button, the javascript accesses the underlying HTML on the webpage, the code attempts to extract and structure the information, outputing required data into a new tab window in a simple HTML table, which can subsequently be manually copied into Excel. Rinse and repeat by opening each individual page of interest, clicking the button, copy/pasting output into Excel.
Useful for repeat works where you need the information again, and where the source does not change regularly.
N.B. some sources may be so unstructured in their underlying HTML and/or use of Javascript and AJAX methods to auto update existing pages, that this simple javasript bookmarklet extraction may not be suitable in such circumstances, and if determined to be the case this will be notified to the client.
N.B. Webpage must be publically accessible.
N.B. Client browser must be relatively up-to-date, ideally Chrome.
You will be provided a piece of Javascript code which you will embed into a bookmark in your browser.
