What you get with this Hourlie
1) I can help model your software needs using UML and one of IBM Rational Rose, Visual Paradigm, Microsoft Visio or Enterprise Architect etc - or using Flowcharts, DFDs etc - to enable you to have a HIGH LEVEL overview of a proposed software (or hardware, or non-computing, possibly) system.
UML Diagrams provided could include static-view or dynamic-view diagrams- depending on the context of your project and related needs. (e.g., Class , Use case, sequence, State transition.., and more!)
2) I can help you breakdown requirements for a medium-large system, in to smaller modules, bsaed on software modularisation, or systems engineering needs(connectivity, networking, number of users etc); so that you have a breakdown of the primary modules/processes/components in your system.
3) Last but not least, I can help you design future-proof SOFTWARE COMPONENTS that run on Linux, or Windows (both application level, or embedded ) - that utilise C#, C, C++ and so on as their primary programming/implementation language.
4) I can help you define the FLOW of data, and help define your architectural requirements in the above-mentioned ways; and help you define CUSTOM requirements - as long as it has some element of software within it; especially MS WIndows and Linux as an Operating System.
I can also provide you with various other C++, UML and related skills- including mentoring, coaching, tutoring on these subjects AND as a life-coach!
Thanks and wishing you success in ALL your endeavours!

What the Seller needs to start the work
I will need some form of SOLID and clearly-stated REQUIREMENTS Specification(s) - preferably a detailed one, with what kind of system the user is considering building, and what kind of hardware/software elements are to be contained within it.
Any supplemental diagrams that illustrate the existing Designs/architecture/processes etc, shall of course be very helpful in defining a new design/architecture. So that will be very welcome as well!
More details(of what I will need) will be completely context-dependant(project specific), of course. :)
I'm a fully qualified engineering consultant, who is currently at home. I do my work to very high standards, but expect co-operation from the customer .
