I am a professional journalist/writer/author specialising in tourism, travel, education, food & drink, history, leisure, business, horticulture/gardening, environment, culture and allied subjects. I work for a wide range of publications and websites,writing blogs, web content, features as well as writing my own books, guidebooks and ebooks. I have worked as a freelance for virtually my entire working life, and enjoy being self-employed. I am versatile, hard working, a good researcher and an excellent writer. Over the years I have worked in most sectors including retail, training, personnel, catering, hospitality, distribution, environment & sustainability giving me a good all round knowledge, I have a good degree from a UK university and also possess a post graduate teaching qualification.
