What you get with this Offer
I am a European Patent Attorney based in the UK. I have 18 years experience registering designs and other intellectual property in Europe and worldwide.
Provided you have a real EU business presence, I can help you register your design with the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) to get a European Community Design. Since Brexit, UK designers must have an EU business or use an EU-based attorney.
If you have designed a new product, the look of that product can be legally registered and protected throughout Europe via the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO, formerly OHIM). The EUIPO charge a fee of €350 for registering a design.
For £250 I can assess whether your drawings or photos of your product are suitable legal "representations" of your design, identify the correct official category for your design and prepare the online application for you. This will take a few emails back and forth and can be done in about 2 days if you have suitable representations.
Once I have prepared the application, you simply submit it to the EUIPO and pay their fee. After filing, you would be responsible for your registration which is usually completed within a few weeks.
If you have designed several different related products, there may be savings on both the official fees and my charges when registering all of them. Please contact me for more information.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
Full details of who owns the design (the applicant) and the identity of a person who will be responsible for the registration - e.g. an employee/director of the applicant company.
Confirmation of a real EU business address.
Clear detailed drawings or photos or your design. Any information you send me is in confidence as I am automatically bound by a duty of confidentiality as a European Patent Attorney.
