What you get with this Offer

Under this offer, I will transcribe up to 15 minutes of audio or video for £15.00 which is based on the audio provided being fairly clear and in English and with a maximum of 2 speakers. An additional speaker can be added below as an extra which will incur an additional charge of £3.00. I am an experienced freelance transcriptionist providing accurate and professional transcripts, and I can transcribe as per your instructions regarding template, font, spacing, and markers, otherwise, I will use my own template with all standard markers where required. I will also research any names or words I am unfamiliar with and can provide time-codes if required at an additional £2.00.

If your file is longer than 15 minutes, please feel free to purchase additional offers or contact me directly with your requirements. Similarly, if your audio is not particularly clear, please contact me and I'll be happy to quote.

I aim to get your transcribed file back to you within 48 hours (not including weekends or bank holidays) as this will allow for any other work I may be working on at the time. If you require the transcript more urgently then I can deliver within 24 hours at the additional charge of £10. Please just add on the optional priority delivery.

I can transcribe a variety of transcription files including interviews, podcasts, conference calls, time-coded transcription. I have a legal background, so, I am completely comfortable with transcribing audio files from the legal sector. I also transcribe regularly pre-edit audio/video files for broadcast/TV companies, so competent with time-code accuracy and burnt in time codes (BITC). I will be able to transcribe verbatim or clean verbatim.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work

- The file will need to be provided in common audio or video formats such as mp3, mp4, DCT, or WAV format or a youtube url.
- I can transcribe either clean verbatim or verbatim (to include, for example, um’s and uh’s, stutters, false starts etc).
- If there is any unclear audio, I will include a timecode e.g. [Inaudible 00:05:10].
- If a speaker is interrupted and their sentence unfinished, I will use a double hyphen --
- If there is a pause in the audio for more than three seconds, I will use ellipses ...
- If a time-stamped transcript is required throughout, at regular intervals, just let me know your requirements. There is an additional charge of £2.00 for this service.

Unless otherwise instructed, I will use font type Calibri size 12. The transcript will have 1.5 spacing and a line between speakers. This can be adjusted to the client’s requirements and any specific layout can be accommodated. Please just let me know or contact me beforehand.
