What the Freelancer needs to start the work
To get started, please message us with your document, including your word count, deadline, type of English (British or American), and any specific requirements.
Word count:
We can proofread approximately 1,000 words. If you require a different number of words editing, please see my add-ons, or contact us for a personalised proposal. If you’re unsure whether you need line editing services, please message us first.
Format:
Please note, we primarily work in Microsoft Word using the tracked changes and comments functions. We also work with Google Drive documents. We can mark up a PDF but not make direct changes to a PDF. Please contact us for further details.
Turnaround times:
Our usual turnaround times are 3 days depending on workload. We often work to short deadlines. Please message us for specific turnaround times depending on your requirements and word count. If you have a short deadline, please contact us first and we will let you know whether it is possible.
Revisions:
We are happy to provide further checks on our work, such as querying a correction or checking the implementation of a suggestion, as long as it is within a reasonable time frame. Please note that this is limited to work we have already edited and does not include substantial new information that has been added.
