What you get with this Offer
I can locate stills or clips according to your needs.
You can be sure of the quality of my work as I have experience working as a picture editor for the BBC, for various independent film companies and I have a degree in science journalism. I have also won a travel award for my own photography and have been approached to host my photographs on a fine art website.
ROYALTY-FREE MEANS FREE, RIGHT?
WRONG. I look for ROYALTY-FREE images - that means images you can buy the rights to use. Technically speaking, unless it is a photo you or one of your employees has taken and have the rights to, you would need to pay royalties to the image owner to use any image for your own purposes. In contrast, when you buy a royalty-free image you own the (un)limited rights that you pay for and as long as you stay within those rights the image is yours for the original purchase cost.
If your budget is very tight I can find low or no-cost images, however please note that as in all things, you will get what you pay for, and if you go cheap on your image budget then you must be prepared to compromise on quality. There is only so much even the best researcher can do without a picture budget! A better budget gives you access to more prestigious databases (like Getty) and therefore better, higher-quality pictures.
*IF YOU WANT FREE PHOTOS - BE PREPARED TO COMPROMISE ON QUALITY*
What the Freelancer needs to start the work
I will need a brief from you - the more detailed the better, plus any examples of images you already have that you or your client likes. I need an idea of your budget for the photos so I can search appropriate databases and bring back appropriate results, and if possible it would be useful to have an indication of where you would like the images to be sourced from (eg if you have an account with Getty Images it makes sense for me to look there first).
NOTE: If you're not sure why I am asking for an idea of your picture budget, please re-read "ROYALTY-FREE MEANS FREE, RIGHT?" above.

London, United KingdomTried hard and put in the time but was unable to come up with too many pictures that worked for us on the subject we had requested.

I worked with what I had - the brief was inadequate and the client would not elaborate except to say what he didn't like. Client expected miracles.
