When looking for a member of staff, most companies use a Temporary Staff Agency or Employment Agency. This can cost of several thousands. Of course these companies have to earn a living. Therefore If you are looking to pay £10.00 per hour to the Temp you could be charged £16.50+VAT and upwards of £19.00+VAT. That works out at a staggering mark-up of 40% + of the fee to the temporary contractor!
Finally, you can hire the person direct. This can save you thousands and even end in employing someone who becomes part of the team. The key is to ensure you have the CORRECT paperwork.
Failure and you can end up in trouble from the HMRC for PAYE/National Insurance. Give grounds for automatic employment, or end up paying for something that ultimately not delivered!
We can draft an agreement on your behalf detailing the full breadth of your agreement with the Temporary Consultant/Temp Worker, timescale, scope of works, hours of works etc.

Rob F.
Wolverhampton, United KingdomVery pleased with the work carried out by Ian. He was more than happy to make the adjustments needed to my requirements. Also, he personally called me to explain a few things i needed clarifying.
I will no doubt be using him for further work in the not too distant future.
I would recommend anyone who needs legal work/advice carrying out, to approach these first.
Thank you for everything.Jersey Legal & Business Services
