What the Freelancer needs to start the work
Customers will upload/send us logo, pattern, photo or any other creative artwork and then our design experts will convert it into a digital file in certain format/language that the embroidery machine can execute and stitch it out. We are using latest professional software for Embroidery Digitizing. This design will be emailed to you for approval.
Two important factors to consider - image size and file size. We suggest that you submit a relatively large image, ideally at 300 dpi resolution (e.g. if the desired size is 3" x 3", at 300 dpi, the image size will be 900 x 900 pixels). However, please prepare a relatively smaller file size, recommended to be below 2 MB. Again, keep in mind that generally JPG and PNG are good in compression, while TIFF and BMP may be 10 times bigger.
The design might need to be simplified - that tiny text that looks fine in print might look horrible when converted to tiny little stitches, should this be the case we will contact you to discuss.
Once digitized, we can only adjust the file size by 20%, be sure to submit the exact measurements of the design you would like embroidered.
