What the Freelancer needs to start the work
The buyer can give as much information as he or she wants for the logo. You may Suggest colours, fonts, style or the type of image thats is to be included.
I think the important thing with getting the best possible logo is firstly remember the better you communicate the sort of thing you are looking for the better chances of me visualizing your expectations. What may seem black and white to some for example "create me an awesome logo" or "i need a logo to wow people" try to keep in mind that everybody has different tastes as ive learned over the years whats "smart, stylish or classy" to one person can be tacky or basic to another person so my advice is always this, try and prep some good description, find a few logos you like maybe along with what you like about them as well as "big no, no's!"
