What you get with this Offer
As you will see from my portfolio, I can design in many different styles (my signature/favourite being an original hand-drawn image modified in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator).
Once we have discussed your brief and both sides are happy that we have the required information, I will go ahead and design your repeating or placement pattern within three days. I can often design a print quicker than this, however it can be a bit slower if I have a lot of projects on at the same time and I like to manage expectations.
Once I've come up with a first draft, I will send it to you and await any feedback you may have. Once you have approved the pattern, I will send you options of scales (if applicable) for you to choose from. When this has been decided, the artwork will be provided as a 300dpi photoshop (.psd) or illustrator (.ai) file or a print-ready tiff. If your supplier requires specific file types, just let me know and we can work to suit them.
The price you pay for this service also includes full copyright to use the design across as many product lines and categories as you wish. I do sometimes ask if I can use the designs to advertise my services, but I would never use an image without seeking your full permission first.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
I like to work closely with my buyers to ensure I am working in the correct direction for their brief. Helpful information for me would be as follows:
Inspiration for the design - any supporting photographs/examples you can send me that help illustrate your ideas
Colour palette - If you have certain colours that are integral to your brand, or help illustrate the feel of the intended design.
Target market - knowing a brief backstory of who your intended customer is, what they like/dislike would be really helpful.
What product is it going on (and examples) - this helps me decide about scale and positioning
Moodboards - If you have them, these are a really useful tool for me to quickly get a feel for the look/mood
What style of print you are after - hand-drawn/graphic/watercolour etc.
Anything you really dislike/that is not on brand/hasn't worked well before - this is all really useful information for me to have before starting so that we don't waste any time on a design that's not going to work.
