What the Freelancer needs to start the work
1.I will need a sketch/drawing/flat illustration/picture of your design.
Your sketch should show back, front view, and special details; also include written explanations where necessary.
2. Body measurement/ size chart
I need to know your sizing and your size range. The base/Sample pattern is usually drafted in the mid-size of your range. I can work for you with my own sizing if you do not mind.
3.The fabric the design will be made in.
I need to know the fabrication for the style. Is it woven or knit? Does it stretch? What is the percentage of Stretch? Is it light weight? etc.
4.Preferred construction method.
I might also need to know the construction method. Is a seam a french seam, is a neck faced or bias bound etc.
5. Your preferred seam allowances.
Do you want it uniform all-around or do you want to use different allowances at different places? etc.
6. Any additional information that you think I may need to complete the job.
