For this offer, I will use my knowledge and experience of process management to map all processes within one department in your business on a low-level interactive process map.
I always include lots of detail on the process flow I produce.
In order to fully understand what is going on in your workplace and all the actions and time associated, I will map each individual transaction within the process. These process steps are categorized into:
- Value Add, Non-Value-Add or Necessary Non-Value-Add steps to understand what waste should be getting tackled
- Manual or automated action will help you to see automation opportunity
- Transactions that have associated waiting time are highlighted to see if it can be influenced
- Transactions that have prerequisites and dependencies are shown as these can cause issues
All data that is recorded within the process, its source, and its destination are shown on the low-level map too in the form of a data flow. There is always the opportunity to review data utilization and reporting as this will allow you to become more competitive if when you understand the data.
All of this can be done through email, calls, or video conferences, but I will need to speak to the people who do the tasks within the process - especially to get this truly accurate! Once I have mapped all of the steps, categorized them, and mapped the accompanying data, these process maps can be published and shared via email where I will give a walk-through of what we have recorded.
