Description: As PA to the MD of a computer and IT solutions provider, I proactively managed the major client accounts of the Company, ensuring their computer and IT requirements were catered for at all times. Researching and providing suggestions as to how improvements could be made. Liaising with the order department to ensure delivery dates will be met and identifying any potential delays at the earliest opportunity.
One of last projects I worked on was the IT and communication installation for what was then a new, but is now, a major tourist attraction. I was responsible for coordinating the cabling and infrastructure contractors and suppliers to ensure all the equipment was delivered at the required time. Arranged project meetings with all parties involved and generally made sure that everything was progressing according to the critical path schedule.

I supervised a small team consisting of secretaries, receptionists and administrative assistants. My duties also included but not restricted to being part of the selection and interview team for the recruitment of new administrative/secretarial staff and induction of same; making sure there was sufficient cover on both sites in the event of staff absence; taking minutes at the senior leadership team and Board of Governors' meetings; ensuring that pupil data was kept up to date and new intake roll was populated on the pupil management system each year; publication of the weekly staff newsletter; coordinated mass mailings to parents, etc.
With a the appointment of a new Headmaster, I was asked to take up the role of Personnel Manager.

I was also responsible for some non-personnel functions such as the the pupil census upon which funding was based; organising cover for teaching staff absences, often at short notice, to ensure that no class was left without a teacher.
