Whitchurch, GBMarie was simply not up to doing a corporate transaction. Slow responses, minimal advice, not guiding the the transaction as a Bueyer's solicitor should, and twice tried to increase the job value during the job. I've used her before and think she is better suited to non-time critical, not contentious, drafting work.

Client was very deceptive and tried to play down the amount of work that was required. He specifically mentioned he has legal knowledge and will take care of part of the the job himself but it turned out that he knows nothing in the legal sphere and actually insists on including unenforceable clauses in the contract. If you are working with Anthony, be sure to itemise the jobs that are required or he will take advantage of the PPH fixed price system. The job was about the sale of a company and I did my part but the seller played a waiting game and dragged the job for almost 2 months. And this client thought I should be available within an hour everyday no matter when the contract will be signed. The Client has unrealistic expectations and will make you believe he's overpaying. He also refused to pay in time and got me to do additional work that was never mentioned prior to start of the job. He's clearly abusing the PPH fixed price system.
