This is the second project that I had with Aimee. After she worked on a draft of the second portion of this project, I had some questions regarding the report. I tried to keep conversations cordial and only related to facts, and yet she refused to discuss edits to factually inaccurate information. She claims she was a lawyer in the States, yet refused to act in my best interests and made some fundamental errors such as referring to the wrong terms of service. When I asked for changes, she not only refused to correct them, she became incredibly unprofessional in her communication and engaged in harassment and online bullying. When acting on someone else's best interest, a freelancer owes a duty of care. As a lawyer, you would owe a higher duty of care, yet what I experienced was so unprofessional and shocking that I reported her actions to the administrators. I am flabbergasted that anyone in a professional capacity would act this way, and I feel it's my obligation to warn others.
