Marketing Manager for mid size law firm

My working background covers the full marketing mix, my biggest strengths being marketing communications and online marketing.
In my 'employed' roles I have focused on fully planning events and exhibitions, from regional events to large national events. I am an experienced presenter at events and conferences, producing Powerpoint presentations for each.
As a freelancer I have been recruited to write blogs, populate and update Wordpress and Joomla websites and create e-marketing campaigns, namely using Mailchimp and Mailing Manager. I am also available for market research projects.
I am currently working on projects within the legal services industry and have also worked in other professional services industries, the arts and education industries.
I have experience of liaising with key business partners and influencers and have represented companies to clients on a regular basis.
I also have experience as a PA and administrator and have excellent IT skills including Powerpoint, Word and Excel. I have also regularly used Access to co-ordinate the building of and manage a CRM database.

I currently manage the marketing activities for a mid size law firm in the South East and manage their website, e-communications, the design and production of marcomms materials including pens and display units and press releases and advertising. I have produced both print and web advertising, as well as direct mail campaigns and am capable of following a design from conception to realisation. In addition to this I have co-ordinated submissions to annual legal rankings. A key factor when working in an industry such as law is the ability to communicate effectively with the audience and I am confident in editing jargon heavy articles for public consumption. I have also organised company events and managed attendance at external events and conferences.
My analysis skills have been honed from years of annual report production and market research activities. Primary research projects have included focus groups and interviews.
My working history involves working for both large and small companies in the full marketing mix. A recent project was for a growing online educational publishers. I contributed to all aspects of the marketing function including the marketing plan and formulation of strategy and in order to increase registrations by 200%. I managed a large CRM database in Lotus Notes to build and nurture relationships with key influencers as well as keep communication channels open with graduates. Communication tools included e-alerts, podcasts and blogging on social media websites. I also managed the online marketing of the company with a revamp of their metadata and on page SEO in order to improve their Web rankings.
I helped to set up a brand new sixth form college in London. After being hired to provide temporary administrative support I was quickly given responsibility of many key areas in the creation of this brand new college. I recruited and enrolled the entire first year student cohort via careers fairs, promotional material and relationship management. I recruited personnel and acted as PA to the Project Manager during this set up period, organising meetings, diary management and other general administration duties.
