Education Summary: I have done my “Masters of International Management” from School of International Studies, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. My specialization is marketing.
Pondicherry University is a central university, and the second, after Jawaharlal Nehru University, in India to start this course on International Management.
This course is tailored to cater to the needs of managers who can adapt to an international scenario. With the growing number of Multinational Corporations in India, the need for managers to understand cross-cultural barriers and how to overcome them became the need of the day. This course teaches us to adapt to such needs in an organization. Our course offers us specializations such as finance, marketing, human resource development. The course is a two years course with three semesters of studies and two main projects, one summer project, which is done in the summer holidays (May and June), and a final project done in the final semester (January to March). I have done my summer project in A C NIECLSEN ORG MARG Private Limited, and my final project with Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) better known by its largest brand Amul.
