Whilst I enjoy the diversity and aroma of being part of a team, I also work well on my own and strive to meet deadlines.
I am proficient in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash (Actionscript 2.0 & 3.0) and have a good working knowledge of After Effects, Cinema 4D, HTML and CSS.
Area Covered: Greater London
Work Experience Summary: May 2008: Helped re-design the annual “Edwardian” magazine for King Edward’s senior school in Bath. I was responsible for sorting out a master template, baseline grid and paragraph styles for the newly selected typefaces. In addition to the magazine I designed a biodegradable bag for their Open Day and reviewed the school’s adverts for local magazines and newspapers.
August 2007: Work placement at Esquire magazine, London. Working alongside experienced designers and art directors I was able to extend my knowledge of working within a magazine's art department. Whilst improving my ability to apply text and image to an existing layout, I also gained insight into their redesign and how working to deadlines is so critical.
