I have a passion for researching, technical writing, analysis and engaging in discourse particularly about practical RF, analogue and mixed-signal nano-electronics applications. Highly pragmatic and very successful in proving, enabling, or signing-off projects. Perhaps my most valuable assets are a curious and insatiable appetite for knowledge, taking on board new ideas, and a formidable tenacity to do a perfect job over and above expectation, by nature not by design.
In recent years I have enjoyed providing solutions to prove and enable high value IP and microchips for the biggest names in chip design for a diverse range of famous brand smartphones, tablets, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Digital TV products.
I have good knowledge and understanding of CMOS technology, RF, analogue and mixed-signal modelling, circuit design, analysis, and verification(digital centric exposure) across a broad spectrum of IC products and IP processing. Over the last 15 years I have worked for the biggest names in the Semiconductor industry, with specific focus in Design Methodology for mixed-signal, analogue and RF IC design.
I am also Well versed in many of the popular IC design tools of the trade (Cadence DFII, Mentor Graphics, Agilent ADS... ). Particular ICT script strengths in Unix/Linux, Shell (csh, sh, Korn, Bash, sed, awk ), Perl, Python, Matlab, C/C++, and technical writing in MS Office.
