I have a range of key skills across various ATL/BTL marketing channels and am a proficient project manager too. A great networker I also have a range of key contacts across both the tourism and arts/culture industres in Scotland/the UK and North America.

My role involves creating innovative collaborative marketing, PR and travel trade campaigns for the festivals which add additionality and new visitors. The festivals within our group include:

Job Title: PR Executive - North America, Australasia
Description: Working across the North American and Australasia markets, I was responsible for the creation and implementation of the PR strategy and activity plans to promote Scotland and its tourism products to these markets. This was undertaken via in-house editorial pitching; PR agency management in market; a robust media visit programme and events in market - including Scotland Week in NYC, A Wee Bit of Scotland in Toronto and bespoke events, such as movie premieres in market.
Job Title: Assistant Product Manager
Description: Working within the then 'Freedom' team, main responsibilities included managing local area involvement in national seasonal marketing campaigns (DM, door drop, online, ecomms etc); creation of thematic websites - e.g. Weddings, Gardens, Horse Riding; content management for all portfolio sites (Autumn Gold, Families, Wildlife, Summer); involvement in introduction of first UK e-newsletter system and internal comms point of contact for consumer PR, corporate comms and the wider organisation.
Job Title: Travel Trade Assistant
Description: Working within the North American, Australasia marketing team I was responsible for the day-to-day management of VisitScotland's educational website for travel trade colleagues to learn about selling Scotland. Responsibilities also included attending sales missions/events across North America and recruiting buyers for the annual B2B event in Scotland. Engagement with Scottish trade was also key in assisting relationship building with foreign trade contacts.
