I graduated from UCA Farnham back in July 2009 with a BA (Hons) Animation, where i learned my craft in 3D, and have since been working as a 3D Character Artist at Animazoo UK in Brighton. During the last 3 years as a Character Artist I have taken on a significant role in all aspects of the 3D pipeline and have greatly improved my own abilities as a result. I have been fortunate enough to work on some incredibly exciting projects over the last few years including the new 'Merlin - The Dragon Tower' attraction at Warwick castle, based on the hit BBC series; and I have also recently completed work on the new BBC series of The Graham Norton Show.
While I don't as yet have any shiny trophies to flaunt, the clients I have worked for have been generous in their praise of the quality of my work and of my performance as part of the team:
"Helpful, enthusiastic and professional - a real pleasure to work with... willing to go further than he'd gone before with the actual animation (textures and movements etc) to get not just any old Dragon but 'The Great Dragon'. This meant it had to meet our Merlin Entertainments standards and also accommodate the TV series 'Merlin' production company's strict sign off procedure too. Stuart rose to the challenge and seemed to put a lot of personal effort into getting it as accurate as possible. He clearly communicated what he was doing and when by. " - Ailsa Easton, Creative Director; Merlin Entertainments Ltd.
In the future I want to continue to expand my abilities and grow as a Character Artist. I will always strive to be better at what I do, and I look forward to working with other passionate artists on even more, exciting projects.
