Responsible for all aspects of production of printed output of The Lawn Tennis Association. Projects include ACE Magazine - a multi award-winning news-stand monthly title, British Tennis - the official journal of the LTA, Coach - the official magazine for licensed coaches, as well as hundreds of programs, posters, pamphlets and other ancillary publications with a total print cost in excess of Â£6 million per year.
Main tasks include sub-editing and proof reading all major publications, preparing flatplans and liaising with editorial and advertising staff on pagination and imposition, writing headlines, standfirsts and occasional features and contributing feature ideas and commissioning editorial. Working alongside design department to maintain strict standards and design disciplines, retouching digital photography and preparing pages for final PDF output. Dealing with external suppliers and clients, preparing quotations and design briefs.
Working with multiple external printers, designers, writers, illustrators sub-editors and photographers on dozens of simultaneous projects.
