I have a very strong desire to travel and take as many opportunities to visit new places as possible. Particular highlights include Oktoberfest, Cuba and Zanzibar and I'm currently working on a way to make it to Australia!
I enjoy both watching and playing sports - was a goalkeeper for nine years and have reached blue belt in karate. I keep a particularly, (unfortunately), close eye on my home football team, Sheffield Wednesday, and keep an eye almost any sport.
I also greatly enjoy literature, taking a particularly keen interest in American 20th century literature and journalism - am looking forward to applying my knowledge to freelancing work!
