I also have experience of project management, delivering training services in IT and languages including event management.

Excellent communication skills - Professional Competency skills including project planning, excellent telephone manner, excellent presentation skills using PowerPoint and able to build rapport. I present research findings to my local authority employer to influence and shape policies. I hold experience of training and delivering information to groups of people and Excel training from my experience working for the NHS. I am qualified with a Professional Trainers certificate and have had training in using PowerPoint for Analyst presentations, Advanced Excel and Access.
Project Management/Strong Organisational Skills - I am PRINCE2 Practitioner qualified as well as knowledge in SSADM v2 and SSM in IT Business projects. I have recently delivered a Neighbourhood Vitality Index measuring the levels of vitality of an area. I chair the East Lancashire Data Group, Non-research Focus group and manage all marketing events for the LIS system.
Computer Literacy • Fluency in Microsoft packages including Work, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Previously worked as PBC Information technician using Access based CDS, SUS and SLAM system. New skills gained include administering Elevate LIS, MAPinfo and Arc (GIS software), SNAP 9 (Survey design and analysis), MOSAIC public sector (socio-economic marketing) and Adobe Premiere Elements (video editing in research context) and SPSS. I also have experience and knowledge in desk based research and skills in extracting local/national datasets from external sites i.e. ONS, NeSS, NW Public health observatory, NOMIS (Economic data), LCC Profile (JSNA) and MADE (Crime stats). I also have experience in setting up and administering a web based on-line information service.
