So just a short introduction for you.. my career commenced over 17 years ago when I started working as an Executive PA and Editorial Assistant to the Head of Research at Cancer Research UK. During my time in this role I carried out all the usual PA duties alongside assisting the Doctor with a Journal that he was the Editor of at the time.
The next pivotal role in my career came when I started work for the NHS 8 years ago. My initial role was as PA to the Head of Nursing of Specialist Services for children with a brain injury. Alongside my PA duties I was tasked with co-ordinating nurses for shifts as required. Within a year I had climbed the ranks and evolved the role to become Nursing Recruitment Manager. Working to strict NHS guidelines I managed the recruitment process from advertising placements to shortlisting, interviewing through to training, inductions and supervision.
