Company Name: compoundEye
Summary: I started compoundEye design in 2003. My role has been both creative director and in charge of day-to-day operations.
Our job is to create solutions that are dynamic, vibrant and relevant to our client’s message and audience. We work in print, web, interactive and video.
My skills also include project management, print sourcing and management, people management, and last but never least, graphic design.
We have a range of international clients in sectors such as education, publishing, medical and utilities. We also work with small businesses and individuals who are just starting up.
The work we do is loved by our clients. When we polled our clients anonymously, the two areas we ranked the highest were quality of work and customer interaction. We provide a very one on one service at compoundEye.
Description: OnRoute magazine. Layout of pages for 32-page metro community magazine. Content included news, features, interviews, travel information and competitions. The aim of the design was to keep the content vibrant, easy to navigate and engaging for the reader.
Company: Oyster Healthcare
Description: 'Managing IBD Conception & Pregnancy' was a informational booklet about Idiopathic Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and it's effects on pregnancy. The publication was aimed at health professionals who would give advice to expectant mothers who had concerns about the disease on their new child.
The title was commissioned by Oyster Healthcare Communications and designed by compoundEye. The booklet plays an important informational role to new families so the design needed to be clear, unfussy, and immediate. But it needed to have a unique visual style and engage the reader.
The visuals are made up of silhouettes of imagery related to motherhood, children and pregnancy. The silhouettes contain watercolour textures to warm the feel of what could be a cold, clinical publication.
Company: Gestalt Centre London
Description: compoundEye created a new website and content management system for the Gestalt Centre London. The new site allowed the client to more quickly advertise their course offerings, development groups and rooms for hire.
The new website is a vital marketing tool for the Gestalt Centre London. Every day bookings are received through the site for rooms, courses and more. The improvements made by compoundEye mean that it's easier for the client to provide the most up-to-date information to the public.
The new content management system also makes it simple for the client to add their own pages and content to the site without having to know HTML or web programming.
compoundEye also rethought the navigation of the site so that it was more clear how to reach the required content. We gave the site a fresh visual update that brightens up the Gestalt Centre London's web presence to their customers.
