My work has covered creation of marketing materials, bid proposals, presentations, manipulation of financial data and reporting. Personal projects have included business card design, brochure work including small marketing pieces and Annual Reports. I have also worked on a 3 million pound inauguration event primarily covering the print and design including production of all print materials and product branding. I am excellent at photo manipulation and visualisations using Photoshop. I am excellent at the Communications side of business. I am an Excel enthusiast and am expert in preparing data driven documents.

Summary: Having worked for twenty years as a Desktop Publisher/Presentation Specialist within the Banking, Oil & Gas, Insurance and Legal sectors, I have gained a vast knowledge of business requirements in concern with document production and design (including reports, annual reports, newsletters and brochures), data manipulation and research, generice library set-up, logo designs and redraws plus adhoc design work. I also Freelance for small companies preparing small websites, strategic advisor on company branding and graphic design. My hobbies include KIAB.co.uk; where I am the owner & designer, create and complete photoshoots and press releases etc. I am studying for a BA in Textiles and finish in 2012.

Description: Primarily worked on Reception and adhoc admin duties covering other departments when necessary. Produced internal documents ie leaflets and reports for the company. Assisted the PA. Moved from reception to work on Inauguration on the invite side to begin with and then managed the print side of the project. Expressed an interest on setting up a communications department.
Education Summary: Formal eductation, plus A Level in Art and Printmaking. Completed various Adobe courses including Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop, Corel Draw and have worked on both Macs and PCs. During banking placements I have taken internal exams as determined by the FSA. I have also had training on Datastream and Factset and other generic banking analytical tools. I have had advance training on Microsoft software and work quickly and diligently under pressure either alone or well within a team. I have also had media training in crisis management.
