Working on putting together a CV site for a friend and using it as an excuse to play with NodeJS.

I dabbled a bit through my teens on a few programming languages.
Out of university I landed my first role as Domain Administrator for an Internet Service Provider moved within about six months from an customer service and account setup admin assistant into a 3rd Line Technical Support role. I continued to support a full range server, internet connectivity services for a growing company from small ISP in a cupboard to a datacentre in Docklands.
I sidestepped into another similar role in Docklands for a smaller company who I knew were working with Ruby for their in house systems and within a few months I became a key member of their Development Team as a Ruby Developer working on rebuilding their hosting systems both web based and backend.
I stayed with them for two more years before going freelance. One of my freelance projects went full time in 2008 and I have been working full time with them since. I have still maintained many small freelance projects to keep me extra busy and also to keep my skillset fresh. And here we are today.
I work mainly with Ruby / Ruby On Rails but I'm always seeking new and interesting languages and platforms. Feel free to throw something new and interesting my way to teach me something new.
