My chief role was to make contact with potential clients and introduce our product (electronic components and technology solutions). From this initial point of contact I was responsible for arranging meetings involving the relevant engineers from HQ Korea, development and monitoring of client requirements including product development/adaptation and eventually ordering, invoicing and further servicing for clients ongoing needs and identifying further growth opportunities.
My biggest project was with Tesco Europe where I created an account with them worth £40 million to implement the use of ESEL (Electronic Shelf Edge Labelling). This was subsequently rolled out in Hungary, Poland and some smaller UK stores.
I have also worked closely with clients such as BskyB, Pace, Technicolour, Arqiva and Future Electronics.
My chief skills are introduction, negotiation, strategic planning and management of client needs and subsequent expectations to deliver a professional and reliable sales service.
I work well on my own initiative but can also work as part of a team. I enjoy the challenge of the unknown and seeing projects through from start to finish, being hands on at all developmental stages.
