I have worked in the past for BBC TV, ITV, Sky Sports, Sci-Fi Channel and others in the UK, and presently I work regularly for the BBC and Channel 4.
I also shoot and produce my own projects under our production company High Horse Films which mainly involves music; documenting live performances, creating promotional material for bands etc., which has included broadcast programmes and official DVD releases.
I am happy to work in HD or SD, linear or non-linear (Avid & FCP).
My quoted rate is for broadcast video editing, but I am generally relatively open to negotiation.
Area Covered: London, North West
Work Experience Summary: While still freelancing at the BBC I have continued to work for all of the terrestrial channels and some satellite channels.
My post-production work consists mainly of transmission material; fast-turnaround TV sports editing, trails packaging and graphics, legal and compliance work etc. I also enjoy music, and have been known to make promotional material for bands and document live performances for both transmission and DVD / web distribution.
I have produced and directed multi-camera music performances and PSC shoots for music promos, DVD releases and TV.
Education Summary: I am fully BBC trained in television operations (1988); studios, sound, lighting, post-production. I am educated to A-level standard. I have extensive experience in The World Of Television (UK).
