The campaign involved a mix of paid for advertising, approx 100,000 flyer inserts distributed in newspapers, over 2000 targeted outgoing calls made to potential prospects and several large pieces of PR, which culminated in over 250 farmers signing up to take a free trial of the Kingswood Farm Management Software in advance of the grant scheme opening. This has been the
most successful period in the 15 year history of the company, and I converted around 65% of trial signups to closed sales. (£158k initial sales, £13k p.a. on going support).
ï‚· Due to my success in managing this targeted campaign the company successfully secured an extension of their operational territory from Kingswood, to include Scotland.
ï‚· Recently recruited a new sales executive through the InvestNI E2 Export Development Programme and have been managing and assisting them in the export expansion of the company into Scotland. Also identified a similar grant scheme as to that in NI, available in Scotland. Working as a team, we have developed an export plan and have had a successful launch that is already generating customer trials that should convert to sales of over £8k per month. (Current target of £15k/month by year end.)
