For the last 10 years or so, I have been working as a freelance writer and running my own business supplying Career Advice and writing CV\'s. i also write articles aboutmore...For the last 10 years or so, I have been working as a freelance writer and running my own business supplying Career Advice and writing CV\'s. i also write articles about the recruitment process from hiring to firing, career advice, helping with changing careers, NLP, Body language, staff management, aggression in the work place, interview techniques and whole plethora of work related topics. I am seeking opportunities to supplement my income through freelance writing work, producing professional CV, Cover letters, job application forms and personal statements. I have a large database of examples of work, which has been published on the Internet, on job search engines and in national newspapers.
Prior to becoming self-employed, I worked as a Management Consultant specialising in Human Resource Management, Personnel Outsourcing and Retrenchments. A lot of my work revolved around the recruitment process: placing ads in newspapers and online, using job search engines to target potential employees, receiving CV\'s and selecting interviewees, interviewing and finally job offers and acceptances. I am also a qualified member of the institute of `personnel and Development and have an MBA from Cranfield University.
I have also worked in the banking and finance industry where I set up and grew a trouble shooting department to trace and collect treasury payments all over the world, which was preceded by a two year on the job training qualification and part time study to achieve ACIB status. I grew my department from one (myself) to 35 employees, managing their training and development, setting up procedures and protocols, disciplinary reviews, recruitment, quarterly and annual reviews and so on.
